After hearing about the charity BUMBLEance on a radio show and heartbreaking experience of a father who created the charity after his daughter was diagnosed with MND.
Noel knew he wanted to do something to help raise funds. In 2022 he and some friends cycled from Derry to Kerry and raised an incredible £30,000 for the charity.
Noel also wrote a children's poem book about the Bike Ride from the perspective of Derry and Kerry, two adventurous Bees!
I was very proud to be approached by Noel to illustrate his book. It was clearly something that was very important to him and to be involved in some small way was incredible.

This little book has been such a privilege to be part of and it will always be very special to me.
All the proceeds go to the children's charity BUMBLEance who provide children friendly fun ambulances to transport children with MND and their families to their hospital appointments.
